Good Friends Visit

The winter boss came over to knock on our door to say someone was here to see us. Who????? I was so jazzed at the answer: my OCD partner in crime Betty and her husband Weldon. It was pure joy to see them again. They where camp host for CLM last season. This year they are working for a super area and company and I couldn't be happier for them. Ummmm when Betty cleans she cleans (I am a mini her) - so if any of her future bosses read this then I am shouting out in my loudest voice "TREAT THEM GOOD YOU WON'T FIND A MORE HARD-WORKING PAIR"... So we all hung out for a while swapping stories and experiences and then off they went.

I have been reading so many blogs of late talking about bumping into friends on the road and getting together for a visit. I love reading about them but I have to tell you living them is such an honor and makes one feel important and wanted...

JESUS LOVES US ALL SO MUCH
Jesus loves us all so much
That He would bleed and die
He took upon His beaten back
The cross that saw Him crucified

Yes He loved us all so much
That He was scorned and scoffed
He took it all upon Himself
For it was the will of God

God knew it was the only way
The final sacrifice
Jesus Christ a sinless man
Would need to give His life

And even in the gift He gave
We still have not yet known
The fullness of His mighty love
And the grace so freely shown

All He asks is that we all
Repent and follow Him
For He has made the way for us
Free from hurt and sin

Yes God loved us all so much
And yes He loves us still
He longs for us to trust in Him
And do the Fathers will

Rufus Easter Egg Hunt

I am still not feeling well but I couldn't let this flu beat me no more. So with the Easter Egg hunt on the schedule for 11am - I needed to get my act together.

And so at 10:45am we headed down to the Community gathering site to watch. Ummmm they do things different here and was kind of taken a back by it all. There was no Blessings or Breaking of the Bread or even a speech.

They had an open field of eggs everywhere and the start time was set for 11am and I was amazed that parent where pulling up after 11am. eek the poor little kids had to run for it.... I have to say this.... Not one adult said hello and barely smiled at us - but the children where wonderful - some even stopped to pose for the camera. Very polite kids.

And so here are some of the pictures from this event. There was a newborn baby - awwww I thought it was great that proud Daddy displayed baby for us of us to coo and smiles at...

Jorge and I would like to wish everyone a very Happy Easter tomorrow - We won't be having an Easter Dinner (for some reason I thought it was next Sunday). But we will take the day as we do every Easter and study our Scriptures.

Now let the heavens be joyful,
Let earth her song begin:
Let the round world keep triumph,
And all that is therein;
Invisible and visible,
Their notes let all things blend,
For Christ the Lord is risen
Our joy that hath no end.

**Thank-You Rufus Children for taking the time to chat with us and being a true example of God's love**
