And so at 10:45am we headed down to the Community gathering site to watch. Ummmm they do things different here and was kind of taken a back by it all. There was no Blessings or Breaking of the Bread or even a speech.
They had an open field of eggs everywhere and the start time was set for 11am and I was amazed that parent where pulling up after 11am. eek the poor little kids had to run for it.... I have to say this.... Not one adult said hello and barely smiled at us - but the children where wonderful - some even stopped to pose for the camera. Very polite kids.
And so here are some of the pictures from this event. There was a newborn baby - awwww I thought it was great that proud Daddy displayed baby for us of us to coo and smiles at...
Jorge and I would like to wish everyone a very Happy Easter tomorrow - We won't be having an Easter Dinner (for some reason I thought it was next Sunday). But we will take the day as we do every Easter and study our Scriptures.
Now let the heavens be joyful,
Let earth her song begin:
Let the round world keep triumph,
And all that is therein;
Invisible and visible,
Their notes let all things blend,
For Christ the Lord is risen
Our joy that hath no end.
Let earth her song begin:
Let the round world keep triumph,
And all that is therein;
Invisible and visible,
Their notes let all things blend,
For Christ the Lord is risen
Our joy that hath no end.
