Good Friends Visit
The winter boss came over to knock on our door to say someone was here to see us. Who????? I was so jazzed at the answer: my OCD partner in crime Betty and her husband Weldon. It was pure joy to see them again. They where camp host for CLM last season. This year they are working for a super area and company and I couldn't be happier for them. Ummmm when Betty cleans she cleans (I am a mini her) - so if any of her future bosses read this then I am shouting out in my loudest voice "TREAT THEM GOOD YOU WON'T FIND A MORE HARD-WORKING PAIR"... So we all hung out for a while swapping stories and experiences and then off they went.
I have been reading so many blogs of late talking about bumping into friends on the road and getting together for a visit. I love reading about them but I have to tell you living them is such an honor and makes one feel important and wanted...

JESUS LOVES US ALL SO MUCH
Jesus loves us all so much
That He would bleed and die
He took upon His beaten back
The cross that saw Him crucified
Yes He loved us all so much
That He was scorned and scoffed
He took it all upon Himself
For it was the will of God
God knew it was the only way
The final sacrifice
Jesus Christ a sinless man
Would need to give His life
And even in the gift He gave
We still have not yet known
The fullness of His mighty love
And the grace so freely shown
All He asks is that we all
Repent and follow Him
For He has made the way for us
Free from hurt and sin
Yes God loved us all so much
And yes He loves us still
He longs for us to trust in Him
And do the Fathers will

I hope you all had a great Easter and that you where able to spend it with family or good friends... There is so much to be grateful I wouldn't know where to begin - aw yes I do - JESUSJesus loves us all so much
That He would bleed and die
He took upon His beaten back
The cross that saw Him crucified
Yes He loved us all so much
That He was scorned and scoffed

A Walk To Remember
A walk among friends is always a good thing. And finding treasures along the way is also a treat. I found a wine cork, while Jorge found this... Can you find him???
No sun but it had made its visit earlier this day... And it was wonderful!! We came across this house in which I clicked a picture but it wasn't for the house. It was for the those yellow things that only come when Spring it here... Remember these??
And so I hope to see these days grow more as we get closer to summer - A Walk To Remember!!

RV Nappers
Sunday is the day in which is designated for plenty of rest in the beautiful form of NAPS. Last night I had the most terrible nightmares and maybe slept for a hour or two. So today I kept a low key and just crochet until my eyes couldn't take it. But I always fail at naps - 20 minutes errrr REALLY? True... For me GUILT is the culprit. How do I escape guilt?
The Sunday paper? Yes sir ree... Jorge headed out to get the paper for me (coupons - we need to save where we can). And I hate reading the Sunday paper because of the ink that comes off on my hands and so I'd rather read the new on-line. And so I ran my little finger and typed in the words The New York Times. And in their search bar typed in the words Nap and came up with this article which will now be practice in our home for now on.
http://well.blogs.nytimes.com/2010/02/22/napping-to-boost-brain-power/ it's an older article (like over a year old). Although I'm older then the what the article is stating but then reading what Dr. Sara Mednick published a similar study on this in June of 2009 in the PNAS. Napping is her specialty.
So get your sleeping bags out folks and get to napping!! At our age we need all the help we can muster up!! Americans like to push the limits and are very much over worked all for a DOLLAR bill - can't take that to the grave...

Here’s the scoop: The right kind of nap–one that is long enough to include dreaming (REM sleep) will enhance creative problem-solving and “foster the formation of associative networks in the brain.”
The catch: to have REM sleep, your nap will need to last at least an 1 hour long.
“Dreams are fanciful. They incorporate strange ideas that you would never have put together in waking life. In REM sleep, it becomes more likely that ideas might come together in a solution,” according to
Dr. Mednick.
