RV Fans Who Follow Our Adventures

Would you believe I am wearing a jacket right now?

It was a warm warm day today but then for weird reasons - I got chilly... And I am now wearing a spring hoodie jacket.

It's been a quiet couple of days and a lot of reading has be going on. Jorge is reading Trace by Patricia Cornwell (which I read first - an OK book but I was not happy with the way the last couple of chapters where written - to me it seemed like she was in a rush to meet a deadline). And I am reading Partner by John Grisham also a good book but the storyline is easy to figure out but still a good book.

Tomorrow we head to town about 10am (I am off because my boss is off back east - yippee)... And so I will do some work from 4am till about 7am and then off we go on our bikes... I need a good ride!! We've been kind of lacking in that department and well it's time to fly. hummmmm I am not sure if I pictures to share this go around lets see...
This was posted on our other blog - but well not everyone reads it so here we are.... This was a wonderful hike (over 10 miles that day). Our furry babies loved it... soon it will be hunting season and then it gets tricky about where we can hike. I will have to make bright scarfs for the pups so no one shoots them. And of course the bright vest gets put on us. gotta be safe when others have guns in hands....

Domino's Pizza Here?

The Scenic Lodge Gate is kind of a hidden location and does not offer it's own street address. And so I had Jorge call Domino's Pizza to see if they would deliever all the way out here... And OMG (Chrissy this is just for you - OMG) they worked with us.

It was cute the young lady who came out took a male along with her for safty reason and I am so thankfull for that because it show that Domino's is a caring company. And so we had our very first pizza here. And it was sooooooo flipping good - Chicken, Bacon Ranch pizza is what we had and loved every part of it... Try it - get it - order it!!

The picture is the second time we ordered (a blogger fan sent us money to thank us for a certain blog we wrote a while ago and so we soooooo mega mega mega thank-you for the surprise request)... The entire order came up to $25.00 (that included a tip) - 1 large pizza, a order of cheesy bread and 1 liter of diet coke) and no there where no left overs - my husband can pound it away!!

This sweet lady was so sweet -
she took time to chat with Jorge
and poor Jorge was just dying to get to eating!!
We so thankyou for the donation and giving us a great memory...

BBQ Rules

BBQ RULES
We are about to enter the BBQ season. Therefore it is important to refresh your memory on the etiquette of this sublime outdoor cooking activity.
When a man volunteers to do the BBQ the following chain of events are put into motion:
Routine...
(1) The woman buys the food.
(2) The woman makes the salad, prepares the vegetables and makes dessert.
(3) The woman prepares the meat for cooking, places it on a tray and takes it to the man.
(4) The woman remains outside the compulsory three meter exclusion zone where the exuberance of testosterone and other manly bonding activities can take place without the interference of the woman.

Here comes the important part:
(5) THE MAN PLACES THE MEAT ON THE GRILL.

(6) The woman goes inside to organize the plates and cutlery.
(7) The woman comes out to tell the man that the meat is looking great. He thanks her and asks if she will bring another drink while he flips the meat.

Important again:
(8) THE MAN TAKES THE MEAT OFF THE GRILL AND HANDS IT TO THE WOMAN.

More routine...
(9) The woman prepares the plates, salad, bread, utensils, sauce and brings them to the table.
(10) After eating, the woman clears the table and does the dishes.

And most important of all:
(11) Everyone PRAISES the MAN and THANKS HIM for his cooking efforts..
(12) The man asks the woman how she enjoyed her 'night off,' and, upon seeing her annoyed reaction, concludes that there's just no pleasing some women.

thank you Lois for sending this to me - way to funny not to share....

The Wylers on Wheels and Church

http://www.wylersonwheels.com/Our-Meals--and--more.php

As a family, the Lord is using the Wylers on Wheels to spread the Gospel in churches and other ministries across North America. Since 1992, Evangelist Doug Wyler and his family have traveled full-time in evangelistic ministry in all 48 continental United States and Canada. Although the main focus of the Wyler's outreach is preaching the Gospel, the entire family is involved in many aspects. Every member is active in several areas of the ministry including: music, dramas, "Kids 4 Christ" program, and various other areas. Over the years, the Lord has worked mightily through their evangelistic ministry. They are ready to serve in a variety of meetings including:

I've got to tell you... this was a super great find. I have never crossed a traveling RV Church before. We have however crossed a man and his bike crossing the country to preach/share the gospel. It was an honor to have meet Warren. Due to his knee's he is currently in conversion van which makes us very happy knowing he will be safer traveling this way.

Being a day of rest and a day for some major Bible reading let me also share with you my most favorite women's Bible Blog - I sure hope all you women out there check it out and perhaps even follow!!

I hope that your all having a great summer and that you able to hit all of your Bucket List places. And for all of my RV friends - do travel safe and know that Jorge and I pray for all of you...

RV Made Egg Rolls to Die For

od
I am not a big egg roll person - kind of feel they are mushy - too greasy - and bad tasting.. That was up until we had Sue's... They where good. Jorge ate 8 and I had 5 and yes we where pigs. But the great thing about the two of us is that we are very active and so those extra calories are always welcomed. Fun food and something that we wouldn't eat often but sure is one heck of a treat. So thank you for the homemade cooked meal and 2 thumbs up!!

Plug It Right RV Products

Dodge Cummins Truck Parts - Brake Controllers -TailGate EasyLifts - RV Stabilizing Systems - TPMS Systems - Big Foot Levelers - True RMS Volt Meters

About two weeks ago I got to meet Dutch and Diana well because they are friends of friends. Even got to go to dinner with them. A very nice couple and super helpful on giving us advice on our next rig. Well Sue our friend brought me over to their truck and pulled the tail gate down and told me to close it. Well my thought was OK? Why? OMG... OMG... OMG... it was so light!! But how the heck is that possible??

Click ---->TAILGATE EASYLIFT<---Click
$30.95
This is device that allows you to life your tailgate with super ease - even if you have a load of laundry or whatever. If I didn't lift this tailgate for myself I would of never believed it!! It was like lifting air you could use just one finger to lift the tailgate up.... I was so in awwww shock!!

They have all sorts of RV friendly products and have a huge, huge customer base. I am just excited because I seen for myself how awesome their products are.

What was great about Dutch & Diana is that they aren't pushy about their products - they don't have to be really "See it for yourself and your a customer for life"

As many of you know we are getting ready to upgrade our RV home and once we do we are going with PLUG IT RIGHT for sure... You so need to check this site out and I am sure a lot of you have heard of them...

Here is a picture of all of us at dinner - I am the one taking the picture and you Diana first then Sue then her husband Bob then Dutch and then Jorge with his back to the camera...

Stop by and tell them Evielynne and Jorge said what an honor to have meet them and thanks for the good times!!

RV Life Lesson and How it works

(thanks LW for sending this to me - super cute)

On the first day, God created the dog and said, "Sit all day by the door of your house and bark at anyone who comes in or walks past. For this, I will give you a life span of twenty years."

The dog said, "That's a long time to be barking. How about only ten years and I'll give you back the other ten?"

So God agreed......

On the second day, God created the monkey and said, "Entertain people, do tricks, and make them laugh. For this, I'll give you a twenty-year life span."

The monkey said, "Monkey tricks for twenty years? That's a pretty long time to perform. How about I give you back ten like the dog did?"

And God agreed......

On the third day, God created the cow and said, "You must go into the field with the farmer all day long and suffer under the sun, have calves and give milk to support the farmer's family. For this, I will give you a life span of sixty years."

The cow said, "That's kind of a tough life you want me to live for sixty years. How about twenty and I'll give back the other
forty?"

And God agreed again......

On the fourth day, God created humans and said, "Eat, sleep, play, marry and enjoy your life. For this, I'll give you twenty
years."

But the human said, "Only twenty years? Could you possibly give me my twenty, the forty the cow gave back, the ten the monkey gave back, and the ten the dog gave back; that makes eighty, okay?"

"Okay," said God. "You asked for it."

So that is why for our first twenty years, we eat, sleep, play and enjoy ourselves. For the next forty years, we slave in the sun to support our family.. For the next ten years, we do monkey tricks to entertain the grandchildren. And for the last ten years,
we sit on the front porch and bark at everyone.

Life has now been explained to you.

There is no need to thank me for this valuable information. I'm doing it as a public service. If you are looking for me I will be on
the front porch.

How RV Folks Get Splinters Out

OUCH.... Gosh Dang it!! Yesterday I went and got myself a splinter and of course a million different ways of getting such a pain out of me and yes it was stuck in there pretty good.

There are so many way to get splinters out... Some use Elmer'sGlue and what they do is pour some on the area infected and let dry and pull. I have tried this and well maybe 40% of the time it works.... And then some people take clear nail polish and paint the splinter, let it dry and you can easily pull the splinter out with the tweezers eek not for me I try to be chemical free as much as possible.

What I like to do and have had the best luck with is - LOL BAKING SODA...

- Wash the area with soap and warm water
- Pat dry (make sure you don't rub but pat)
- Make a paste with the baking soda about teaspoon amount
- Put paste on the entire area of the location of the splinter
- And put a big bandaid on it and wait 24 hours.
And when you take bandaid off take a good look at your splinter less area and if hanging out just tweezer it out and say "Gosh I Love Evielynne" LOL hey a girl has to try to get some luvin where she can. Just a note - I am not a doctor and just giving advice on how I handle ALL of my splinters - I hate needles and the stress that goes with taking a LITTLE splinter out...

RV Pallet Made Chair

My husband butt is so famous for breaking chairs.... His butt cost us so much money every year... LOL so one day after he made this table for the outside - I made the joke about making temp lawn furniture and his wheels in his head starting turning fast.... And so here is his chair... Again nothing fancy but I will say it's very comfy... Well in the picture you will see my husband sitting in the paid chair and the joke of the blog today is that his butt just broke the very chair he is sitting in. And NOOOOOOO my husband is not fat/heavy or anything like that. 6 ft tall and 175lbs and we just don't get it lol....

And don't mind the dishes on the table - I should had them put away first. Since we eat outside so much it just made sense to wash them outside. It works for us!!

Rathdrum City Park and it's Farmer's Market

I so love the Rathdrum City Park for so many reasons. Its a park of many uses and gets used. Every other weekend they have their Farmer's Market (which really really needs more vendors and next summer I will be working it selling my crafts http://www.etsy.com/shop/mrscraftyrving and also http://www.etsy.com/shop/hatmasters ) . The vendors here at Rathdrum are so beyond nice and even took the time and patience to chat with us. And so here are some pictures of both our visit to the park and on a separate visit the Farmer's Market..
