So whats a little smoke?

Heading to town on our day off to drop off a ton of packages - the stores are starting to do well and we are most happy about that. On our way home on our bikes I happen to notice a change in the sky and got a little scared. It turns out a control burn (no such thing in my book - and the fire back at at Yosemite Park back 2008 proves my point) for one of the fields... I didn't know they did that sort of thing. And on this day it's was a bit breezy too. But it all turned out well and made for good pictures...

Horse, Child and Great Lady

Today has been a down day for me - last night I did not sleep at all. And so this morning my husband says "Stay in bed-read-knit do what every you want because I'm taking over the RV today - lol" how great is he? He cooked, cleaned and sewed today. It was a very slow day today - I think we only had 3 people come in. It's about one of the 3 I'd like to share with you. You see our gate is so special because we are on State Land (which you can camp on for 14 days FREE - and if you buy a permit you can use IEP Land to pick berries, hunt, ride atv, ride your horse and pick mushrooms) and we are also so close to private property and have meet all of the local home area within our area. Here is one of them...
What we learned about them is that they live very close to us and don't ride up here very often because Moose and Horse do not mix - she was telling Jorge that a group of horses tied to a tree (hunters where the riders) and when they came back the horse where is terrible shape because the moose took beating action all over them. She was so cute that she was going to turn around right by the sign and head back home when Jorge said "oh my you can walk another 2 miles if you want" and so they did - maybe about a 1/2 mile - it was great joy to meet these two and to watch them. I hope they come back real soon. They thanked Jorge for taking this job and how impressed they are to have him - it use to be a very bad area with drug deals and trash and just a lot of trouble... I am always in awe of folks who take the time to thank us for what we do!! Your looking at 2 cutie angels...

Fun Trip

I love the emails I get from our bloggers... I am so sorry about blogging so much. It's not by choice it's the simple fact that our electricity source comes from a ginny which  of course requires gas and really trying to limit our budget this summer.
We are so enjoying our new job and we give the folks we work for 2-thumbs up. As long as you keep to yourself and do your job what else can you ask for????? We so love it here... The first picture was taken this morning while I was working. And all the rest are from last Tuesday when we rode our bikes to town for sight seeing and dropping off our charity crafts we had made the week prior. Enjoy and hope that all of our RV friends are doing well!!
About 20 feet from our RV

Sneaking up and let me tell you they are super QUIET

This was about 11am

Jorge taking in the view...
We do not support Bottled H2O - We love our EARTH..

And it's FREE...

They just finish getting this done - it's prettier in person

Hidden Main Street - very quiet and very pretty
No hours or advertising at all - kind of stinks...

We so wanted to see the inside but no hours or anything - and they where closed/locked

The train track above - kind of cool...

Yes it has sugar in it. But I am 95% good about not eating it - once a month maybe??

For those who think I starve Jorge - kiss my behind. We are active and that's why we are thin!!
This was so funny..
The horses would NOT come to Jorge at all
 - CITY BOYS...

They are beautiful arn't they?
Growing up on a farm and I use to ride - well they sense that.

I could of stayed all day - but poor Jorge was pouting!!

The folks who own this property are so wonderful to us - thankyou!!
LOL so we don't get lost....

Rathdrum's Wonderful Chip and Lynne

Hello everyone!! How are you? I am doing very well - in fact I am giddy. Your asking why? Well first lets get into my work routine. I wake up Mon-Fri approx 3:30-4am and I am on the computer getting my company work files downloaded. And then from there I do research. And lots of it. I type up my facts with personal opinions and then send off to my editor who fixes my horrendous spelling and grammar errors and then off to the judge it goes. And then it's around 11am-1pm on a good day I get to call it quits....

Well because of my routine often enough I won't get to see or visit our customers that come through our gate and today is no different except Jorge my husband got to sneak off with his manager to cash his payroll check and pick up some groceries that where very much needed. So I was able to work outside while he was away.

And so while working away, a truck that had come up earlier in the morning was making it's way down the hill and very slowly (in which I so profoundly thank them for - dust is bad here) and stop to have a chat. Well the beautiful blond that sat beside the driver is one wonderful Lynne with a bundle of beautiful wild flowers - never in my life has another women ever been so kind to pick flowers for me. My husband does and hasn't in a while - ummmmm bad boy Jorge - bad boy!! And she even gave us some of her huckleberries they had gone up to pick (let me tell you I have no idea what they taste like but by the looks of the size of the berries people invest a lot of time picking them). They gave us a  whole bowl full...

What I liked about this women was that not once did she roll her eyes and had a smile on her face the entire time we spoke. Remember folks I can be scary lol... Chip her husband is someone Jorge looks forward seeing every time he makes his way up to our hill. Polite and really takes time to talk to you. I will say that anyone who takes the time to shut the engine off and step out of their vehicle has a lot of respect for man kind. There are some who'd rather scream over the roars of their engines...

They made my day - they really did... And I wanted to use my blog to share my thoughts about them. They happen to live in the very house we enjoy stalking due to their Barbados Blackbelly Sheep I had put a picture of their sheep on our pet blog but I will now post it here. We always always always stop at their property to admire their land and pets....

They have thought about doing our life style and I hope one day they do - they are wonderful people who have a lot of wonderful experience and already have a fan base in the RV world which is like 100 steps ahead of us prior to our start in this life.

So thank you Chip and Lynne for being who you are and we just adore our new friends.... Enjoy the photo's...

Rathdrum City Park and it's Farmer's Market

I so love the Rathdrum City Park for so many reasons. Its a park of many uses and gets used. Every other weekend they have their Farmer's Market (which really really needs more vendors and next summer I will be working it selling my crafts http://www.etsy.com/shop/mrscraftyrving and also http://www.etsy.com/shop/hatmasters ) . The vendors here at Rathdrum are so beyond nice and even took the time and patience to chat with us. And so here are some pictures of both our visit to the park and on a separate visit the Farmer's Market..
