My RV made Bear

The days are just flying by - We have 1 week left till we start heading off to "OUR" summer work. This summer will be different from what Jorge was doing last summer. I will get more into that when we start. We have had the best time in the last two months and we expect the fun to continue the entire summer. We are excited to be biking for charity again soon too. We can't do that here in Rufus because well they are pretty far from the hospital - but this summer we'll be no more then 10 miles one way from the hospital where we can drop off our handmade items. This year we'll be doing bears and hats... So not much to report but I will include my very first bear in which I did wrong but not to worry lol the new ones look nothing like this... We live and learn!!

Pinochle and BBQ

I am so ready for summer!! And while we are at the tail end of our stay in Rufus - it's about getting ready for our summer. Learning how to play http://canasis.com/pinochle/ PINOCHLE which is a very strange fun game - although by the 5th game I should get a better handle on it. We are learning how to play because well? It seems to be the number 1 game RV folks like to play. Last night we had our first game with our most patient friends/boss. First they prepped us with a meal first - bean dish to die for yummmmm to the gore... And then for the next hour Jorge and I looked like lost puppies but having a blast playing. We are so looking forward to game #2...

And today I decided to do some ribs... Using my own recipe!

Ribs (lots of them)
1/2 cup Mayo
1/2 cup Mustard
1/2 cup Ketchup
1 jar of cocktail sauce
1/2 tsp basil
1/2 tsp Italian seasoning
garlic as much as you want...

I used the crock pot but you can use this on the grill (taste way better that way)... Here is a picture of the before cooked...

How pets nap on a Saturday

There is just something so beautiful and peaceful when the LOVES of your life nod off for a good period of time just to give you a break. But in this RV timing is everything.

Having some computer work to do and Jorge needing to get of all of his medical paperwork in order on-line. We just needed some peace and quiet.

And so you should always count your blessings because we have 3 sleeping in this very picture. Note the border collie - she LOVES, LOVES, LOVES her pillows. Milita was one mean dog when we got her but you couldn't tell that now with her. She is the leader of the pack however SnowPea says other wise and JuneBug (my beautiful fat cat) reminds everyone that this is his castle.

LOL and they slept a long time allowing us quiet time to get our things done.... See the RV life is Great!
I have to say not all Saturday are like this and in fact in most cases crazy busy and so I had to take the time to reflect and says thanks to my little fur balls for being perfect today...

Need help with your pet - this blog is just perfect for RV folks with furry pets! We ran across a man who full time with a huge fat rabbit - oh this thing was great (I remember the rabbits name Harvey - weird I know but this thing was huge)

A lot of movies are being watched in our rig. We have closed ourselves from the world, all in the name of rain... LOL it is Spring and with Spring rain is part of the program and it does make flowers and we are so ready for more flowers, leaves and greener grass and best of all romantic walks....


Speaking of movies. Today I received and email from my good friend Gwen. She is on a wonderful adventure down in Texas right now. Well yesterday Gwen and her husband Dale went to the RiverCenter Mall and came across this display and thought of me.....

 Now how cool is that. I love my friends!! The timing of the email was very funny too because with all the rain we just happen to watch a couple of his movies today. My favorite is now a tie between North to Alaska and War Wagon ... In which both where watched today.. So thank-you Gwen for the thought. I like the Monopoly game way too cool and I bet it's an arm and a leg to buy.

A must read... Nellie wrote a wonderful write-up about her adventure about her new gym. Now keep in the mind the instructor was a 71 year old women and Nellie is just a couple of years younger then me. I laughed so hard. She's got sass this girl and I love her!! That's all I am going to say - you'll have to go read for yourself. I so had to leave a comment on there to show her my support - we all need it from time to time... Thank you Nellie for making me laugh today!!
