  1. I feel your pain! They have priced themselves out of my ability to attend.

The Sedgwick County Zoo in Wichita, KS is one of the premier zoos in the country but at 12 bucks a person (7.50 per child ages 3-11) not going to happen any time soon. I could go on a rant but I won't!

  2. I see you have the zoo on your list. Near the other end of the state is Wildlife Safari in Winston (just south of Roseburg). It is a drive-thru game park and well worth seeing. They also have walk thru exhibits and nature talks. Fun place. There is so much to see in Oregon that I better stop before I get started LOL!!

  4. i think all museums around the world over price themselves. it is like culture is for sale. just 3 weeks ago, we went to guiness brewery in ireland and we paid more than 20 euros for me,my husband and my 10 year old.

  5. It is difficult as RV'ers on a limited income to see many of the places they would like. Knowing that you may be in this area again just put them all in a hat and draw one. Make sure you hit the brewery of course and maybe have another beer to forget the cost of these items on your bucket list.

  6. Want to trade places for a couple weeks? You guys can finish cleaning out my house and I'll complain about how much everything costs here in Oregon. Deal? I didn't think so.

  7. Hi Evielyn!

I've been reading your blog for just a short time and I'm not sure how far and wide you two roam so I don't know if this will be helpful. We fulltime too and I've found that buying yearly passes really helps to cut down our entertainment budget. I put a lot of information on our blog. Cut and paste this link -
